Gal Greenberg is a Berlin based singer songwriter and multidisciplinary artist from Israel. She creates music through voice, words, and sound, shaping songs that emerge from her emotional reality. This piece is about breaking out of a negative loop that no longer serves and entering a new path more attentive to the heart. It expresses a call for help, for internal action that will bring about change—breaking the boundaries of the self and setting free.
The home production mixes sounds from Indie-pop, R&B, and Neo-Soul with local sounds related to the time and place—a Tel Aviv bedroom full of neighbors and construction noises. I was Looking for an authentic way to express my mixed feelings, like I was exposing my diary and subconscious, so this bedroom production helped me get it. This mini-album celebrates mixed emotions and the wound of loneliness.
OLD LOVE
This song from my EP, is a love song I wrote after my first breakup. Since then, it has accompanied me to the end of every love. It discusses the desire to move on and let go, wishing the pain disappear so I could close a chapter and say goodbye.
